Her practice specialties include sexual orientation, gender identity, women's issues, and EMDR for trauma. Dr. Firestein's first book, Bisexuality: The Psychology and Politics of an Invisible Minority, won a Distinguished Publication Award from Division 35 of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Women in Psychology.
