Following the convening of International Poetry Nights in Hong Kong 2013, Islands or Continents collects the finest contemporary poetry by some of the most internationally acclaimed poets today. About the Author

Bei Dao is a world-renowned poet and cofounder of the literary magazine, Today. Gilbert C. F. Fong is professor and Shelby K. Y. Chan is assistant professor at the School of Translation, Hang Seng Management College. Lucas Klein is assistant professor at the School of Chinese, University of Hong Kong, and Christopher Mattison is assistant director at the Hong Kong Advanced Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Studies, City University of Hong Kong.
